Axl was in a band called ROSE, and at least 1 time gnr called themselves Drunk Fux.
 One of the flyers even shows the fact that the first guns n roses lineup was
 Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Tracii Guns, Ole Beich, Rob Gardner.
